Megan Moore (she/her/hers), Consultant

Megan joins Davis Squared Consulting with 14 years of experience in educational equity. She believes that all children should be challenged intellectually, while being loved unconditionally. In order to do that, Megan has continued to examine her own whiteness and challenge biases that affect how she shows up and the environment she creates for all of her scholars. After pursuing her undergraduate degree in psychology and nonprofit management at Pepperdine University, Megan joined Teach For America in Charlotte, North Carolina where she taught 1st and 4th grade. She returned to the nonprofit field and California as a Program Director for a Bay Area nonprofit for seven years working with youth who aspired to be the first in their families to attend college. Recognizing that organizational impact and employee satisfaction is heavily influenced by the competencies, assets and philosophies of its leaders, Megan received a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Megan returned to the classroom as a founding teacher at a new school in Atlanta, GA that explicitly incorporates equity and anti-racism into its framework and curriculum. In addition, she is a certified senior trainer for staff that work in youth development and the out-of school time field, offering training in positive youth development principles, diversity, equity and inclusion, STEM, behavior guidance, leadership and social-emotional learning practices. She serves on the Board of Directors for the California School-Age Consortium (CalSAC).
