Clarissa Harris (she/her/hers), Consultant
Clarissa has worked in DEIBJ-focused fields for almost a decade. Her expertise spans across the higher education, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. In addition to over a decade of experience as an organizational consultant, Clarissa has held formal DEI and mission-driven leadership roles at institutions such as Warren Wilson College, East Fork Pottery, and the Center for Participatory Change. She is also actively engaged in organizing with various liberation and justice collectives across the South. She is uniquely skilled in building lasting reciprocal relationships, collaboratively gathering data in a non-extractive way to form analysis, and working with communities to organically and strategically create just solutions to problems they may face.
Clarissa is a self-proclaimed strategy and campaign junkie. She loves figuring out how to develop frameworks and implement systems to run more efficiently and effectively while also keeping human well-being, collaboration, and community building at the forefront of the work. Clarissa identifies as a Black queer woman.
